The red steam engine came to a final stop that night. The steam swirled into the darkness and the doors of the carriages opened. The students would move from the train to the carriages awaiting to carry them to the castle. They appear to be propelled by nothing, but invisible creatures named Thestrals draw them. Only those who have viewed death can see them.

A girl stood at the platform, waiting for someone she knew to appear through the barrier. The dark haired girl watched, her electric blue eyes alert. A black coat flew out behid her in the wind that blew down the platform and her plain blue top was revealed underneath. What was the point in dressing up when you were only going to change on the train anyway? Pushing her trolley to one side as a huge stampede of third years went past the seventeen year old felt a yearning to be back at the school again. Then again she wanted to be helping with the ORder as well.

None of them were giving Emily anything to do at the moment. Most of the order doubted her because she was only seventeen and still in school. Hopefully a few of them would give her a chance in time, but at the moment it wasn't a question. It was really unnerving actually. She was studying her potions, DADA, charms, transfiguration and divination NEWTS this year, and had all her OWLs with 3 E's and the rest O's, how much would she have to do to prove herself?

Carvona Moody got off the train and heaved a great sigh. She was sad to be leaving Alastor behind, but she was so excited to be back, that she did not much care at the moment. Not that he wouldn't have anything to do while she was away. Now that the Order had started up again, he would be busy doing what he did best: fighting Death Eaters. The night air was just perfect and Carva looked up at the gleaming windows of the castle with a smile. She was nervous to start her third year with all of her new classes and all of it's new challenges. However, there was nothing wrong with a few nerves, right?

Carva filed past older students as she walked with her fellow third years, her claok rippling behind her. Her eyes were so focused on the castle up ahead that she ran straight into a seventh year girl and promptly fell over. Carva has seen this girl before, but she couldn't put her finger on where. Carvona very rarely got flustered, but something about this girl made her get very nervous. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." Carva said as she picked herself up off the ground. "Are you alright?" She asked.

James stepped off the train happily. It was good to be back. Quickly jumping onto a carriage, he watched as the silhouette of Hogwarts castle drew closer. This was the last time, he thought, that he would be able to come back here as a student, yet it seemed only yesterday that he first came to this castle. James had never really considered what he might do after school, he had only ever considered becoming an Auror. But, he thought, of course he had to become an Auror. If he didn't then he couldn't get revenge on the Death Eaters, and then...

"James! What do you think you're doing!? Get out of the carriage!"
James woke up from his daydream at the sight of Professor McGonagall glaring at him.
"Sorry Professor", he muttered and ran to catch up with the other Seventh years, cloak flying out behind him.

Ten minutes later, he was at the castle doors, preparing for his final year at Hogwarts.

[[sorry my post was a bit mixed up, sorry for any confusion!!!]]

Emily was kind of, off in space? I don't know... She was promptly reawoken as a younger looking girl, who she reconised from her house, bumped into her. She smiled apologetically. Being only 5"5 she didn't have to bend to offer her hand to the young girl. Don't worry about it, I should have looked she said with a friendly smile. The girl, whose name remained unknown to Emily, seemed pretty worried. She actually looked as if Emily was gonna eat her or something. Bless. she had a bit of a rep in school for not taking any nonsense, she was the kind who stood up for herself. Not many under the sixth year knew her name exactly, but they knew off her. It was a good way though, she would always stand up for another kid.

I'm fine, you ok? You're the one who fell over she said with another smile. Emily's eyes had a sparkle behind the lectric blue. She nearly always did have that little shine there. It was one of her trademarks. Normally she was the optimist, always thinking on the positive sides of life. She loved that outlook. Only sometimes did she have that negative side, but not often, so it wasn't important. Ushered by teachers, her and the third year were swept towards the school. A carriage ride later they were outside the gates and she found herself still with the third year and now next to James. She reconised him as a Hufflepuff in her year. Heya, long time no see she said with a smile to him.

((No worries. :D))

"Oh, I'm fine." Carva said as she dusted herself off and followed the girl to a carriage. Carvona was once again mystified as she rode up to the castle and it's shining windows. She sighed a bit and smiled as she hoped the year would go smoothly. Things were happening outside the walls that noone wanted to happen, and it worried her everyday. The only bad side to being within Hogwarts was not being able to talk to Alastor about the Order. He was always straight-forward with her, even if she could not know all the details. She felt safer that way. But, there was no real means of safe communication now, and she was worried.

All those worries left her when she and the fifth year stepped out of the carriage and we suddenly dwarfed by the Great Oak doors. She no longer cared about the Order or running into the girl now standing next to her. Carva looked at the girl once again, but did not introduce herself. The girl was now talking to a Hufflepuff boy and introductions can always wait.
