The Rules
Most of these Rules are common sense, but for those who are incredibly stupid they will be posted anyway. (Or if you are new to RolePlay and are not sure what is expected)
General Site Rules - These apply everywhere and anywhere, and are most important.
No Constant Swearing
Now I will say I'm not very clean mouthed, but some people are, and this is a teenager and above site, so please keep swearing down. You may swear, but please not in every sentence and not too severely please.
No Racism, Sexism ect.
Plainly and simply, it isn't nice. If you know the person well and they know it is a joke then fine, but otherwise, no. I do not want fights on the site about it, so refrain please.
Sexual Scenes
Right, as I said before, this is a teenager and above site. Most of us are mature enough for things like this, but some of us aren't. If you do wish to include anything of a sexual nature in your thread please post in a warning in the title for those who do not wish to read it, and do not go into extreme detail. Nor do we want sexual references in OOC, unless as before, the person knows it as a joke, even then mention it is a joke, just for other members.
Others.
To join a proboards site it says you must be 13 so please stick to this, it is in the Proboards rules and I don't want problems from them. This site is all mine and Andrew's idea, and graphics are courtesy of friends and graphic designers, do not steal them. I claim no copyright on my ideas, however I'll be extremely annoyed if someone does steal them. All characters and themes are not copyright to us but J K Rowling and Warner Bros, we claim no copyright.
Role Play Rules - Apply everywhere in character.
Post Length
I personally love reading long posts, and love replying to them, and so do many other RolePlayers. Please have at least three sentences to your posts, unless it is deep into a RolePlay where you require less. You can talk about your characters thoughts and feelings. For example:

Emily continued to skate, absorbed in the flowing movements, jumps, spins, in it all. After about ten minutes she stopped when the ice needed to be smoothed over and walked off. She could hear others complaining that their feet hurt but Emily was so used to it now none of it affected her. Slipping off her skates and putting her converse back on she put her skates into the bag she'd brought and sat at the edge. It didn't take long for her to spot a familiar face in the crowds though. Those alluring blue eyes of hers scanned the numerous faces and picked out Elliot almost immediatley. Shouldering her bag she flicked the long waterfall off hair over her shoulders and snuck up behind him.
Guess who she said with a smile and poked him in the ribs as she approached him from behind. Dumping her bag on the floor she surveyed the boy she'd been best friends with for nearly her whole time at Valkyrie. Unknown to everyone -except maybe Charlie- Emily was seriously crushing on this boy. However, he had a girlfriend, and would never fall for her anyway. Watching the ice smoothing machine thing that she didn't know the technical name off she then returned her attention to Elliot. Can Miss Emily have a hug? She asked in that way she did sometimes. There isn't a way to explain it, it's just... A way.
There was a smell of food in the air as all the little shops opened. Now everyone was off the ice it was peak time to buy refreshments. Emily wanted some too, just a drink or something, but none the less, food. Considering she was going to go back on the ice though, so eating a big meal would not be advisable. It was obvious Elliot had his skates, come on they were in his hands, but getting him on the ice would not be as easy as one would expect. Well, maybe, just maybe she could get him out there to skate... There was the smallest of possibilities.
(Bad Post)
Emily kept skating. She was very good and showed off on the ice. Seeing someone she knew she walked over to them Hello Elliot She said with a smile and wait for his reply.
You can see the difference. People who post long posts, tend to like getting long ones back so try and match the person who posted before you, at least.
Grammar And Spelling
Now I know we aren't all amazing at spelling and grammar, I know I'm not, but please do try. There is a spellcheck button on the reply for you so use it! Also please RolePlay in third person, as first person gets confusing, and type in complete sentences, no text talk, or putting actions in asterixs (***)
Killing and Other Dramatics
They ARE permitted, but please, not everyone can become pregnant, no one can kill several people. If you wish to kill someone off and it is all agreed between two characters, then PM me (id: admin) and I will confirm it, the same with pregnancies, and anything else you feel is related to Dramatics.
No God-Modding
You will find this on every site, god-modding is when you take control of the situation entirely. You can only influence your own character, and maybe a small amount of the other persons. For example, Emily punched William, giving him a nice nosebleed is acceptable, but nothing beyond that please, it is annoying and unfair to others in the RolePlay
No Perfect Characters
No one is perfect in life, so no one is in RolePlay either, simple as.
Look-a-Likes
Everyone must have a celebrity look-a-like, it makes life a lot easier for everyone.
Other Rules - That do not fit above
Staying Active
The key to a forum is active members. If you won't be active for a certain amount of time due to moving or a holiday, post in the absenses thread, so we won't delete you. If you are inactive for 3 weeks or more we will email you. If there is no responce in 4 days you will be deleted.
Number Of Accounts
Please remember that you can't have more than four characters. Not many can handle that many nd if you have four we will keep an eye on you to make sure you are keeping all of your character active. To make another character your others must already have 100 posts each.
Advertising And Spam
No Spamming the shoutbox, no advertising in PMs or the shoutbox, there is a section of the site for this, use it. Please advertise this site too on the site you are advertising, or the thread will be deleted.
